Hamilton Hall Lecture Series on World Affairs
Each year, the Ladies Committee hosts eight lectures on World Affairs at Hamilton Hall during the winter. This year the lectures begin on February 6, 2025. The speakers are experts in their fields with great insights into the current issues of our time.
In 1946, after World War II, a group of Salem women who knew of the need for improvements, restoration, and general maintenance of the Hall formed a Current Events Committee to organize a weekly lecture series on World Affairs. The Lectures were planned to take place on the eight Thursdays in February and March at 11:00 A.M. Now in it's seventy-ninth year, the series continues to be offered today, same time and place, with the modern addition of remote replays.
One unique characteristic of the Lecture Series is that tickets can only be purchased for the entire series - please note that when you purchase your ticket, you are purchasing access to all eight lectures. There are three main ticket options: ?Remote Only ticket holders have access exclusively to the remote replays of the lectures. Holders of Subscriber tickets may attend each of the eight lectures in person and watch their replays afterward. Holders of Sponsor tickets have the same privileges as a Subscriber with an option of in-person flexibility: Sponsors may choose to bring another person to one or more lectures, with a total of eight admissions per Sponsor ticket per season.
Remote replays of the lectures will be available from 11 AM Saturdays through 8 PM Tuesdays following each lecture, and ticket holders will receive a link via email to watch the replays.Date and Time
