Bryant Tolles, professor emeritus of history at the University of Delaware, is the author of the renowned Architecture in Salem, an illustrated guide to over 350 structures among Salem’s collection of historical architecture.
Dr. Seger, professor of history at Salem State University, maintains the popular award-winning history blog Streets of Salem, in which she shares her scholarly interpretation of Salem’s history from the 21st century perspective of a longtime local resident. She is also the co-author of the forthcoming book, Salem’s Centuries: New Perspectives on One of America’s Oldest Cities; 1626-2026.
Lee McColgan’s just released book, A House Restored: The Tragedies and Triumphs of Saving a New England Colonial, regales his tale of restoring his 300 plus-year-old Pembroke home. His work has appeared in Architectural Digest, Boston Globe and the Wall Street Journal. There will be copies of his book for sale.HSI’s 2024 Annual MeetingDate and Time
