Salem State University constructed a new residence hall in 2010 that just achieved LEED Gold certification!. Marsh Hall includes a 325-seat dining facility as well as a large and a small meeting space, all of which will be open for use by the entire campus. The hall houses 525 students, which moves Salem State toward its goal of housing 50 percent of its students on campus. This will lead to fewer commuting students, reducing the college’s carbon footprint and reducing congestion on streets and roads.
