Ethan Joella is the author of the novel A Little Hope (Scribner) and the forthcoming novel A Quiet Life (Scribner, November 2022). He teaches English and psychology at the University of Delaware and specializes in community writing workshops. His work has appeared in River Teeth, The Cimarron Review, The MacGuffin, Delaware Beach Life, and Third Wednesday. He lives in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, with his wife and two daughters. Brooke Delp is finishing her MA in Writing at Salem State University. She is currently the Managing editor of Soundings East Magazine, and was the nonfiction editor for last year’s issue. Her work has won a creative writing award in the English Department and was a runner up for the Claire Keyes Undergraduate Poetry Award. In 2020, Brooke represented Salem State at the Greater Boston Intercollegiate Poetry Festival at Boston College. She has also worked as a volunteer with the Mass Poetry Festival in 2021. A Kind of Reverence, an author interview and a review of the poetry anthology, What I Am Always Waiting For, was published in the November 2020 issue of The Brooklyn Rail. Brooke is the mother of two wonderful daughters, Nevaeh and McKinley. She lives and writes in Haverhill, Mass where she is working on a memoir and a novel.
