Salem Chamber 2021 Haunted Happenings Grand Parade
The Salem Chamber of Commerce cordially invites you to participate or come watch the Annual Salem Chamber of Commerce Haunted Happenings Grand Parade on the first Thursday in October. Reflecting the COVID Pandemic, this year's event has been reimagined and will be a reverse parade featuring the theme "Upside Down and Inside Out". The performance, floats, vehicles, and displays will be stationary along the parade route, and attendees will be parading the route to view them all! This time honored kick off of the Halloween season is full of color, pageantry, music and the enthusiasm of thousands of Salem's students from kindergarten to college and our local business owners.

Location
The Haunted Happenings Parade will have a limited footprint, and no official starting or ending point. The streets used for this year?s event: Washington Square East, West, North & South, Hawthorne Blvd., Charter Street, Front Streets, Derby Square, and Essex Street (see map). Retailers and restaurants along the route are strongly encouraged to stay open and participate in the event.
