This Black History Month, join Krystina Yeager of Historic Beverly at the Salem Armory Visitor Center to hear stories about the lives of local Black residents in Essex County based on new research that’s been uncovered. Through engaging hands-on activities, we will explore parts of 18th century Black history, culture, and daily life that are often overlooked. Come feel fabric samples, play period games, and even learn how to do the minuet!
This 45-minute program is free, family-friendly, and open to all ages but geared towards kids 7+. Registration is strongly encouraged, space is limited.
