Centennial Champagne Toast   Mayor Salvo and Mayor Driscoll

In 1912 the Salem Merchant Association and the Civic Association started talks about a merger into one organization, the Salem Chamber of Commerce and Civics. The group joined the U.S. Chamber in 1912 and incorporated in 1914.

We are celebrating this milestone at the Centennial Celebration and Celebrate Salem Awards Dinner Extraordinaire on April 25th, 2012 at the Peabody Essex Museum. Governor Patrick has been invited, as have numerous other dignitaries, including Mayor Driscoll and all past Mayors, our state and federal representatives, and the Salem Chambers’ past presidents.

The Black Tie optional event (open bar) will include the annual Celebrate Salem Awards Ceremony, but will also honor the exceptional centennial companies and organizations within the membership of the Salem Chamber, many of whom have been a member since the Chamber’s inception.

We are expecting a sell-out crowd, and advise all to make reservations early.

For information on tickets and sponsorship opportunities, please call the Salem Chamber office at 978-744-0004!
